Scindia Inaugurates NEST Cluster at IIT Guwahati, Launches Rs 635 Crore Assam Projects

  • Assam package features 65 new secondary school buildings budgeted at Rs 455 crore, a Chayagaon–Ukium road upgrade at Rs 102.69 crore, and an RCC bridge at Silonijan–Dhansiri Par Ghat at Rs 20.59 crore.

  • The science hub is paired with DoNER youth initiatives, including NE‑SPARKS and Ashtalakshmi Darshan, with 3,200 students visiting the Northeast and 800 students gaining ISRO exposure.
