Overview
- Seven-year-old Ananya fell through a broken section of the bus floor above the rear tyre on Saturday in Kasganj and was crushed under the moving wheel, according to police.
- The bus, hired by Mount Dev school in Aligarh, was operating without a valid fitness certificate, and officers documented a floor hole of roughly 2.5 feet by 2.5 feet.
- An FIR citing Section 105 of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita was registered against the driver and school management on Sunday; both were arrested on Monday as the investigation progressed.
