- Wisconsin Brewing Company, which received permission from Pabst, will brew the last Schlitz in Verona on Saturday after regular production stopped months ago.

- Pabst confirmed the brand is on hiatus, saying storage and shipping costs rose as sales fell below contract-brewing minimums at a Busch plant in Texas.
