Sberbank: 39% of Russian Companies Now Use AI in Business Processes

The findings come from Sber’s in-house survey unveiled at the Sber Process Mining conference.

Overview

Sber says organizations are deploying AI agents and assistants for tasks in document flow, finance and HR.
Top automation areas include document and request processing (70%), accounting and financial accounting (55%), HR and strategic planning (34% each), and customer support (30%).
Respondents report faster handling of routine tasks (45%), reduced manual work (37%) and fewer errors in documents and reports (36%).
Additional benefits cited include improved customer service (27%), quicker managerial decisions (26%), greater process transparency (22%) and lower operating costs (22%).
The survey covers firms of varied sizes and locations, with 49% from megacities and 48% from large and medium cities, while sales and marketing uses are at 25% and creative tasks at 19%.
