  • Berkeley Repertory Theatre will launch the world premiere with previews starting January 31, 2027 and an opening set for February 17, 2027 in Berkeley, California.
  • Sara Bareilles is composing lyrics and music, with Sarah Ruhl and Meg Wolitzer credited as co-book writers adapting Wolitzer’s 2013 novel.
  • Two-time Tony winner Michael Arden will direct, and Nadia DiGiallonardo will serve as music supervisor.
  • The stage adaptation traces six friends from a 1970s summer camp into adult lives in New York, exploring art, friendship, class and ambition over decades.
