Santa Fe Corridor Closed Wednesday for Repaving Under Rosario’s 2026 Street Plan

The city uses the summer lull to rebuild stressed corridors by fixing concrete bases before laying new pavement.

Overview

  • Rosario announced a full closure on Santa Fe between Moreno and Bv. Oroño from about 7:30 to 18:30 for milling and asphalt works.
  • Multiple colectivo lines are detouring, with canceled and alternative stops published by the Municipality and Movilidad Rosario.
  • The published list includes lines such as 101, 107, 115, 116, 121, 122, 133, 140, 142, 143/136/137, 145, 146 and the Coastal Line, with temporary stops on nearby Urquiza.
  • Plan de Calles 2026 covers about 11,000 meters across roughly 95 blocks through February and March, with asphalt sectors taking about 4–5 days and concrete works requiring over 15 days for curing.
  • Officials say the program prioritizes heavy-traffic corridors and areas near rail crossings, removing damaged asphalt to repair concrete bases for longer-lasting surfaces.
