San Marcos Advances Admissions With Day Two Exams; Results Expected Tonight

Results will post to the OCA portal tonight, with the university running free buses to keep the schedule on track.

Overview

  • UNMSM held the second exam day on March 8 for Areas B (Basic Sciences) and C (Engineering), including the special-exam modality, with about 8,344 participants.
  • The first session on March 7 tested Areas D and E with 9,720 candidates, and the university published those results on the OCA portal the same night.
  • Across the 2026-II campaign, 27,735 applicants are competing for 5,804 vacancies in 81 programs, which include new offerings in Transport Engineering & Rail Systems, Geophysics, and Artificial Intelligence.
  • To counter GNV-related transport disruptions, free buses depart from four pickup points from 4:30 a.m.; entry rules require a valid DNI and printed applicant card, and access is limited to 6:00–8:30 a.m. with electronic devices prohibited.
  • The process continues on March 14 for health-area programs and March 15 for Medicine, with official results posted on the OCA portal each exam night, which may experience heavy traffic.
