Samsung’s February Security Patch Reaches S25 Line, Foldables and Tablets

Samsung frames the patch as maintenance ahead of the One UI 8.5 upgrade expected to follow in the coming weeks.

Overview

  • In the United States, the February 2026 update is live for the entire Galaxy S25 lineup plus the Galaxy Z Fold 7/Z Flip 7 and Z Fold 6/Z Flip 6, with new device-specific firmware builds published.
  • Samsung has begun distributing the same security patch in South Korea to the Galaxy Z Fold 5, Z Flip 5, Z Fold 4 and Z Flip 4, with wider regional availability expected shortly.
  • Galaxy Tab S10+ and Galaxy Tab S10 Ultra units in South Korea have received the update for both Wi‑Fi and cellular variants, with firmware versions listed by model.
  • On March 1, Samsung started pushing the February 2026 security update to the Galaxy A56, A55, A54 and A53 in South Korea, each with new firmware versions.
  • The release is a security‑only package addressing 37 vulnerabilities, and users can check availability via Settings > Software update > Download and install.
