Samsung Starts US March Security Rollout for Galaxy S25 and Latest Foldables

The patches close dozens of Android and Samsung flaws to shore up devices ahead of the next One UI upgrade.

Overview

  • The Galaxy S25 series is receiving the March security patch on carrier-locked US models, with a roughly 580MB download that updates firmware to S93xUSQS8BZBB.
  • The Galaxy Z Fold 7 and Z Flip 7, plus last year’s Z Fold 6 and Z Flip 6, are also getting the US build on carrier models, with about 500MB packages tagged by ZC1 or ZC3 suffixes.
  • The S25 and recent foldables receive a security-only package that fixes 65 flaws, including eight critical bugs and 52 rated high, with 60 patches from Google and five from Samsung.
  • The Galaxy S24, S24+, and S24 Ultra began a separate March rollout in South Korea that contains 67 fixes, including eight critical issues and seven Samsung One UI patches.
  • Samsung is pushing the updates in waves by region and carrier, and users can check manually by going to Settings > Software update > Download and install.
