Samsung Rolls Out July 2026 Security Patch Across Galaxy Line Starting With Watches

Fixing 57 vulnerabilities including five critical flaws, the staged update is being deployed from South Korea and will reach other markets over the next few days.

Samsung began a staged rollout of its July 2026 Android security patch on Thursday, July 9, starting in South Korea and moving from Galaxy Watches to flagship phones.
The patch bundles 57 fixes — 41 from Google and 16 from Samsung — and addresses five critical and multiple high-severity vulnerabilities identified in Samsung’s bulletin.
Early recipients include the Galaxy S26 series (build S94xNKSS4AZG3, ~553.54MB), Galaxy S25 series (~560.77MB reported), Galaxy Watch Ultra (~166.97MB reported), Galaxy Z Fold 7 (F966NKSSBBZG3, ~573.04MB) and Z Flip 7 (F766NKSSBBZG3, ~443.37MB).
Samsung describes the release as security-only with no user-facing features added, and users can check manually in Settings > Software update > Download and install though staged distribution may delay availability by region.
The patch arrives during One UI 9 testing and ahead of Samsung’s July product event, which frames this move as a security-first step before a broader software and device update cycle.
