Samsung Raises Prices on Higher‑Capacity Galaxy Fold 7, Flip 7 and S25 Edge in South Korea

Rising memory costs alongside FX swings forced the move.

Overview

  • Samsung raised prices in South Korea on Wednesday for 512GB and 1TB versions of the Galaxy Z Fold 7, Z Flip 7 and S25 Edge by about 100,000 won and 200,000 won respectively.
  • Yonhap reports the 512GB Z Flip 7 now costs 1.73 million won, the 512GB Z Fold 7 is 2.63 million won, and the 512GB S25 Edge is 1.74 million won.
  • Prices for 256GB models stay the same, and Samsung left its newer Galaxy S26 lineup unchanged.
  • A Samsung official said it was "inevitable" to raise some prices due to higher costs for memory and other key parts along with recent exchange‑rate volatility.
  • The company has not announced changes outside Korea, and industry reports say other regions could face similar mid‑cycle increases if chip costs keep climbing.
