Samsung, LG Sweeten OLED Gaming Monitor Prices With Free Screens and Record Lows

Time-limited bundles with coupons reflect inventory clearances tied to new model rollouts.

  • Samsung cuts the 49-inch Odyssey G9 OLED to $1,299 ($600 off) and includes a free 24-inch Essentials S36GD monitor for U.S. buyers through Feb. 8.
  • The free 24-inch monitor also comes with the 34-inch Odyssey G8 OLED (discounted $200) or the 27-inch Odyssey G9 3D (no price cut), with some sizes out of stock at publication.
  • LG is bundling a free 27-inch UltraGear LED with preorders of the new 27-inch UltraGear OLED, a $300 add-on running through Feb. 2 with shipments expected Feb. 2.
  • B&H lists LG’s 39-inch UltraGear WQHD OLED curved gaming monitor at $699.99 after a $200 coupon, roughly 56% below recent Amazon highs reported by 9to5Toys.
  • The featured OLEDs target high-end gaming with very fast refresh and response specs, such as 240Hz/0.03ms on Samsung’s G9 OLED and up to 540Hz/0.02ms on LG’s new 27-inch model.
