Overview
- Samsung, which unveiled the 2026 Odyssey monitors on Wednesday, announced US availability and said prices start at $899 with a $50 sign-up incentive for early buyers.
- The headline model is a 32-inch 6K IPS panel (6144×3456) that runs natively at up to 165Hz and uses Dual Mode to drop to 3K while doubling refresh to 330Hz.
- Hands-on reports place retail pricing of the 32-inch 6K at about $1,600 and the 27-inch 5K model near $950 before discounts and retailer promotions.
- All of the new high-resolution models require modern connectivity such as DisplayPort 2.1, support AMD FreeSync Premium and NVIDIA G-Sync, and will demand very powerful GPUs for native 6K gaming.
- Samsung also refreshed its OLED range with active cooling, extended three-year warranties, higher brightness and VESA DisplayHDR True Black 500 certification to address burn-in and improve HDR performance.
