Samsung Brings Major Homescreen Customization to Good Lock Home Up

A South Korea Galaxy Store release gives power users detailed dock and Edge Panel styling with two- to five-finger gestures mapped to system actions.

Samsung published Home Up version 18.0.0.24 on the Galaxy Store in South Korea for devices running One UI 9 (Android 17), formally confirming features that appeared in earlier leaks.
The update adds a DIY home-screen auto-arrange tool and a Sticker Action feature that help users build and lay out bespoke icon and widget arrangements.
Home Up now supports custom backgrounds for the Favorites dock and Edge Panel with blur and shadow effects, adjustable horizontal and vertical padding, customizable corner radius, nine preloaded images, and ten color options.
A new multi-finger gesture system lets users assign two- to five-finger swipes and pinches to any of 27 actions, with example mappings such as three-finger swipe down for screenshots and five-finger pinch to return Home.
Gesture behavior is highly tunable with sensitivity controls, glow and vibration feedback, animation choices, and context rules such as disabling gestures while typing, and Samsung has not announced broader regional or global timing for the rollout which ties availability to One UI 9.
