Samba Police Attach House of Masoom Ali Under NDPS Act

The house at Rakh Barotian in Vijaypur tehsil was attached on March 18, 2026, under the narcotics law framework.
Police valued the property at about Rs 40 lakh and alleged it was purchased with illicit drug earnings.
The owner, identified as Masoom Ali, also known as 'Kala', has been named in five FIRs across three Samba police stations.
He has been lodged in Udhampur jail since last year, according to the police statement.
Authorities described the attachment as part of an ongoing crackdown on drug trafficking in the district.
