The October 27 rankings update confirms Aryna Sabalenka at 9,870 points, ahead of Iga Swiatek on 8,195 and Coco Gauff on 6,563.
Sabalenka was docked 120 points for Dubai and Swiatek 108 for Stuttgart, with both also losing 400 points as 2024 WTA Finals results dropped.
With only the WTA Finals remaining and a maximum 1,500 points available, Swiatek cannot catch Sabalenka for the year-end top spot.
Under WTA rules, failure to play six WTA 500 events triggers zero-pointer replacements, which drove several of the latest deductions.
Belinda Bencic rose to No. 11 after winning Tokyo, Linda Noskova hit a career-high No. 13, Ann Li climbed to No. 33 after Guangzhou, and Lulu Sun jumped 28 spots to No. 88.
