Overview
- Human remains found by a bushwalker along a remote track in Inman Valley, south of Adelaide, were reported on Friday at about 5:30pm.

- Police have declared a major-crime investigation and said the condition and location of the remains point to murder.
- Forensic teams will test the remains to try to confirm the person’s identity, which investigators expect to establish in the coming days.
- Detectives will check for any link to Taskforce Southern, a probe into suspected drug-related murders in Adelaide’s south that has included searches near the area.
