Overview
- Organisers confirmed on Friday that all general admission tickets for the 2027 Ryder Cup at Adare Manor have sold out through the public ballot.
- Only about 34% of those general admission tickets went to buyers in Ireland while nearly two-thirds were purchased by visitors from roughly 80 countries.
- Richard Atkinson, the European Tour group's chief Ryder Cup officer, said demand was “unprecedented” and that tickets could have sold more than 12 times over.
- Thousands of practice-day places will be set aside for Irish residents via a SuperValu Community Day and a small number of premium travel and hospitality packages remain on sale.
- The event runs 13–19 September 2027 with a daily capacity of 55,000, expected week attendance above 250,000 and a projected economic impact of about €300 million to Limerick.
