Overview
- Overnight into Sept. 3 Russia launched a large wave of UAV, missile and artillery strikes across many regions that Ukrainian officials say caused civilian deaths, injuries and infrastructure damage.
- Zaporizhzhia authorities reported an especially intense assault with 957 strikes across 52 settlements and hundreds of mostly FPV attack drones used against the region.
- Ukraine’s General Staff reported counterstrikes on Russian and occupied targets, including damage to a BK-16 landing craft and a Krasukha-4 electronic warfare station in the Sevastopol area of Crimea.
