Russia Sets Jan. 20 Auction of Domodedovo Operator at 132.3 Billion Rubles

The state is selling DME Holding after a court awarded the company to the treasury in 2025.

Overview

  • Applications are being accepted January 13–19 with PSB Bank as organizer, a 1% bidding step of 1.32 billion rubles, and a deposit set at 26.45 billion rubles.
  • Terms require the purchase agreement to be signed within five working days of the auction’s conclusion and ownership to be formalized within 30 days after payment.
  • The lot covers 100% of DME Holding, which controls assets of Moscow’s Domodedovo airport, listed with a starting price of 132,265,816,005 rubles.
  • Analyst Dmitry Baranov estimates the final price could reach 140–160 billion rubles if two or three bidders compete, while limited rivalry could keep it near the start level.
  • Baranov cites a high deposit as a potential barrier to participation and notes that private shareholders of Sheremetyevo and Vnukovo could be prospective bidders.
