Russia Launches 154-Drone Missile Raid on Ukraine, Odesa Infrastructure Damaged

Ukraine escalates repairs, seeking added air-defence support.

Overview

  • Ukraine’s Air Force reported one Iskander-M ballistic missile and 154 strike drones in the overnight assault, with 111 drones shot down or suppressed and confirmed hits recorded at 18 locations.
  • Regional authorities tallied at least nine people killed and 28 injured over the past day, including one dead and six wounded at a Black Sea port near Odesa and casualties in Donetsk, Kharkiv, Kherson and Zaporizhzhia.
  • Odesa’s energy and port facilities sustained significant damage, DTEK warned of lengthy repairs, and officials said power was being restored to critical sites with about 130,000 customers still without electricity.
