- Rubrik, which announced the investment on Thursday, said it will spend over £375 million in the UK across five years and base its EMEA headquarters in London to scale regional sales, marketing and customer support.
- The company made Rubrik Security Cloud available on the AWS European Sovereign Cloud on July 8 to let EU public-sector and highly regulated firms keep data inside the bloc while using Rubrik’s cloud-native resilience tools.
- Rubrik plans a new London office with collaborative space and an Executive Briefing Centre and expects the expansion to drive hiring of high-skilled roles for customer engagement and partner support.
- The company is expanding beyond backup into AI resilience through its Rubrik Agent Cloud and recent integrations with Anthropic, which it says let customers monitor agent actions, enforce guardrails and undo agent mistakes.
- Rubrik cited record UK quarterly results and new customers including Harbour Energy, Manchester City Council and the Scottish Government, and it now serves about 2,000 EMEA customers as it pushes to win more regulated and enterprise accounts.
