Overview
- RRB issued the schedule revision on Tuesday, moving the remaining NTPC CBT‑1 sessions to June 13–20, 2026, after earlier shifts on May 7–9 were already held.
- Regional RRB websites will activate exam city and travel‑authority links for SC/ST candidates 10 days before each session and publish e‑call letters four days before individual exam dates.
- The CBT‑1 is a 90‑minute screening test of 100 objective questions split into 40 General Awareness, 30 Mathematics, and 30 General Intelligence and Reasoning.
- RRB will use a normalised score from the multi‑day, multi‑shift CBT‑1 to shortlist candidates for CBT‑2, followed where applicable by a computer‑based typing test and then document verification and medical exam.
- The drive covers 3,058 vacancies across clerical and ticketing roles and candidates are advised to follow only their regional RRB website and complete Aadhaar biometric verification in advance to avoid entry problems at centres.
