RRB NTPC Graduate CBT-1 Scheduled for March 16–27, 2026

Aadhaar biometric verification is required for entry, with CBT-1 qualifying candidates for the merit-deciding CBT-2.

Overview

  • Exam city intimation slips will be released 10 days before the test window and admit cards four days prior on regional RRB portals.
  • Aadhaar-linked biometric authentication is mandatory, and candidates must carry original or e-verified Aadhaar and ensure it is active and unlocked via rrbapply.gov.in.
  • CBT-1 will feature 100 questions over 90 minutes across General Awareness (40), Mathematics (30), and General Intelligence & Reasoning (30), with 120 minutes for PwBD candidates using a scribe.
  • One-third of a mark will be deducted for each wrong answer in CBT-1, which is qualifying only and does not count toward final merit.
  • About 15 times the number of test qualifiers will advance to CBT-2, which sets merit before any required skill or CBAT assessments and document verification for 5,810 NTPC Graduate-level posts.
