- More than 20 voyages scheduled for May through September 2027 were canceled, wiping out the ship’s summer program from PortMiami.
- Freedom of the Seas will sail from Southampton for the 2027 summer season, which the company says reflects strong demand in the UK and Ireland market.
- The scrapped itineraries included nine-night routes to Aruba and Curaçao, five-night trips to the Dominican Republic and Perfect Day at CocoCay, and four-night Bahamas sailings.
- Guests were notified by email and can choose future cruise credits, full refunds, or reassignment to other ships such as Wonder of the Seas, Jewel of the Seas, or Adventure of the Seas.
- Travelers who do not select an option by April 1, 2026 will be automatically rebooked on the first available sailing, and the ship is currently listed to return to Miami in October 2027.
