Overview
- Myles Rowe charged from 24th to first to win at World Wide Technology Raceway Sunday after losing his qualifying laps, a comeback that set the INDY NXT record for the biggest climb to victory.
- Rowe said he missed INDYCAR's checkered call because of radio problems, which cost him his qualifying run, while Enzo Fittipaldi forfeited his guaranteed attempt after a mechanical issue prevented his car from passing pre-qualifying technical inspection.
- Rowe took the lead with an outside pass for Turn 1 on Lap 47, led the final 29 of 75 laps, and beat Alessandro De Tullio by 2.2081 seconds with Josh Pierson third and pole-sitter Lochie Hughes finishing fifth.
- The result tightened the title fight as Nikita Johnson moved back into the points lead by two (285-283) over Fittipaldi, with Tymek Kucharczyk close behind on 280 points.
- The series now turns to a Road America doubleheader on June 20–21 where road-course performance will be decisive and Rowe’s win gives Abel Motorsports a momentum boost going into the next events.
