Overview
- Rove announced Tuesday it added Virgin Atlantic Flying Club, Virgin Red, SAS EuroBonus and Japan Airlines Mileage Bank, bringing its transfer network to 17 programs.
- Members can transfer to each new partner at a 1:1 rate, with a 20% bonus to SAS EuroBonus transfers available through Wednesday, April 8.
- The Virgin Atlantic link enables cheaper transatlantic redemptions, including Saver seats that start at 6,000 points each way on select routes.
- The JAL connection opens a new path to hard-to-book premium cabins, such as the A350 first class from the U.S. to Japan starting at about 70,000 miles.
- The additions bolster Rove’s bid to stand out, with View from the Wing noting it is the only U.S. transfer partner to SAS EuroBonus and, so far, to Lufthansa Miles & More.
