Overview
- A large overnight rockfall between km 533.1 and 539.2, between Valdenoceda and Incinillas in the Los Hocinos gorge, has made the stretch impassable.
- The collapse tore up the pavement and a containment wall, with no injuries reported.
- The DGT has closed the section in both directions and published alternate routes via Trespaderne, Medina de Pomar, Villarcayo and Oña.
- Authorities are assessing the damage and have not provided an estimate for reopening.
- The disruption comes after weeks of severe weather that has triggered river alerts, including orange on the Tera with partial overflow, a red warning on the Huebra, and alerts on the Bernesga.
