The Rockets won 99-93 on Wednesday at Crypto.com Arena to stay alive, cutting the series to 3-2 and sending it back to Houston for Game 6.
Alperen Sengun posted 14 points, nine rebounds and eight assists in 43 minutes, adding two steals and a block against five turnovers.
He said early traps had rushed his choices, but film work helped him slow the game, read coverages and find open shooters.
Over the last three games he has averaged 22 points, 10.3 rebounds and 5.3 assists on 54.2 percent shooting as Houston’s offense settled.
With no NBA team ever rallying from 0-3, Sengun said the group feels fresh and vowed to protect home in Game 6 to force a Game 7.
