Roborock Launches Saros 20 Robot Vacuum With Weeklong Intro Sale

Roborock says new sensors with a self-cleaning dock reduce babysitting.

Overview

  • The Saros 20 is now available through March 29 at $1,389 on Roborock’s site and Amazon, with a $1,399 Saros 20X bundle at Best Buy and Target that adds extra mop cloths and cleaning solution.
  • The robot uses the StarSight 2.0 system, a dual solid-state LiDAR (laser ranging) and time-of-flight setup that builds a 3D map and identifies small obstacles for precise navigation.
  • An AdaptiLift Chassis 3.0 changes wheel and body height to climb multi-step thresholds and get unstuck from cords or floor lips, and the low profile near 3.1 inches lets it reach under furniture.
  • Cleaning hardware includes a 36,000Pa motor, anti-tangle brushes, and dual spinning mops that can increase pressure on stains, while the RockDock washes pads with 212°F water and dries them with hot air.
  • Coverage highlights these capabilities and the sale timing as reported manufacturer claims, with independent, long-term performance testing not yet presented in the articles.
