Overview
- Wickens confirmed Tuesday in an IMSA media session that he will return for the five sprint races, starting at the Acura Grand Prix of Long Beach.
- He will share DXDT’s #36 Chevrolet Corvette Z06 GT3.R with Mason Filippi at Long Beach, Laguna Seca, CTMP, VIR and Indianapolis in GTD, IMSA’s GT3-based class.
- The Corvette is fitted with Bosch-developed hand controls, created with General Motors and Pratt Miller, including electronic braking that lets him drive without using pedals.
- The 2026 plan stays sprint-only, with Indianapolis now a two-hour, 40-minute round after Road America moved up to a six-hour endurance race outside his slate.
- DXDT arrives with a ninth-place GTD finish at Sebring, and Wickens’ 2025 sprint run produced three top tens with a best of fourth at his home race at CTMP.
