- Seven announced on Tuesday that Robert Irwin will host the 66th TV WEEK Logie Awards, to be held at The Star Sydney on Sunday, August 16, 2026.
- The ceremony will be broadcast live and exclusively on the Seven Network and streamed on 7plus, with the network calling Irwin a global star suited to lead the event.
- Irwin said the hosting job is an honour and an opportunity to spread conservation messages from Australia Zoo to a large TV audience.
- His selection follows a breakout period that included winning the US Dancing With The Stars and earlier Logies recognition, including a 2013 Silver Logie nomination and a 2024 Gold Logie nomination.
