- Citywide hotel occupancy averaged 99.02% during the festival, up from 98.62% last year, according to HotéisRIO’s final Feb. 18 report.
- The Glória–Botafogo corridor led with 99.89% occupancy, followed by Ipanema/Leblon at 99.75%, Centro at 99.47%, Leme/Copacabana at 99.46% and Barra/Recreio/São Conrado at 97.98%.
- Across the state’s interior, ABIH-RJ recorded an 83.89% average, with Arraial do Cabo at 95.40%, Miguel Pereira at 94.40% and Angra dos Reis at 93.90% among the top performers.
- HotéisRIO president Alfredo Lopes said the celebration filled hotels and delivered benefits to tourism-linked businesses such as bars, restaurants and shopping venues.
