Revolt Launches RVX Electric Motorcycle With Mid-Drive Motor

Revolt aims to reach younger performance riders with a mid-drive model using a removable battery qualifying for national and state EV incentives.

Overview

  • The RVX, which Revolt launched on Thursday, July 2, 2026, goes on sale through the firm's 200-plus dealer network with an introductory ex-showroom price reported between Rs 1.24 lakh and Rs 1.30 lakh.
  • Revolt equips the RVX with a new 4 kW mid-drive permanent magnet synchronous motor (5.3 kW peak) that it says produces up to 230 Nm at the rear wheel, does 0–40 km/h in 3.9 seconds and reaches 90 km/h in a temporary Boost mode.
  • Power comes from a removable 3.24 kWh NMC battery that Revolt claims delivers a 160 km IDC-certified range and charges from 0–80 percent in about 80 minutes on the fast charger.
  • The bike includes a 3.5-inch IP67 display, Bluetooth and OTA updates, geo-fencing, call/message alerts, hill-hold, reverse, walk-assist, immobiliser and USD front forks and will launch in Pearl Black, Electric Blue and Eclipse Red.
  • Positioned between the BlazeX and RV400 BRZ, the RVX broadens Revolt’s six-model lineup, increases choice for buyers who want more performance, and could intensify competition in the sub-Rs 1.5 lakh electric motorcycle segment where incentives materially affect what customers pay.
