Overview
- RM Sotheby’s will sell the 1978 Ferrari 312 T3 in Monaco on April 25 at the Grimaldi Forum, with an estimate of €4.5–€5.5 million.
- Chassis 036 was driven by Carlos Reutemann in four 1978 Grands Prix—Sweden, France, Austria, and the Netherlands—posting a best finish of seventh at Zandvoort.
- Gilles Villeneuve later raced the same chassis at the 1979 Argentine Grand Prix before the car left top-tier competition.
- Ferrari Classiche certified the car in 2025, and it comes with Ferrari’s Red Book, the factory document that confirms originality after a full inspection.
- Only five 312 T3s were built, designed by Mauro Forghieri with a 3.0-liter flat-12 and five-speed manual, and this lot is part of a Monaco Historique group of single-seaters valued at more than €10 million.
