- After encountering Resetti on the island, players request the service via Isabelle, with the first session free and subsequent days costing 60,000 Bells for unlimited resets that day.
- Users can clear the entire island, only the beaches, or a specific 10x10 area selected with a transceiver that provides a preview and a cancel option before work begins.
- Items removed during a reset are sent to player storage, with flowers handled by user choice to leave, store, or dispose, and custom designs optionally removed.
- The service excludes trees, bushes, vegetables or crops, weeds, and washed-up beach items such as shells and star fragments, and it does not cover buried items.
- Work is paused during festivals or holidays, and Resetti warns if storage is insufficient for collected items, allowing players to expand storage or proceed in batches.
