Overview
- GaadiWaadi reports that Renault’s next launches in India will add a Duster-based three-row SUV and a new compact model called Bridger as part of a seven-model plan by 2030.
- The three-row SUV is expected in October with a 1.2-litre turbo petrol rated around 161 hp paired with a 6-speed manual or a 6-speed dual-clutch automatic.
- The Bridger is slated for 2027 in the sub-4-metre class above the Kiger with 1.2-litre turbo and naturally aspirated petrol choices and a possible factory CNG option.
- Electrified versions are reported to follow later, with hybrid and full-electric variants likely targeting 2028.
- Reports say Renault will share the Duster’s platform and features such as Level 2 driver aids and ventilated seats, while the Bridger’s new 1.2-litre turbo will use lower-cost multi-point fuel injection to keep prices sharp.
