ReNew Energy Tops Q4 Estimates, Sets Record FY26 Profit on Portfolio and Manufacturing Gains

The beat underscores growing cash flow from a larger operating fleet alongside a fast-growing solar manufacturing arm.

Overview

  • ReNew, which reported results Monday, posted Q4 earnings of $0.02 per share on $421 million in revenue, topping forecasts on both metrics.
  • Full-year net profit rose to INR 10,385 million from INR 4,591 million, helped by a bigger operating base, lower debt levels, and stronger manufacturing sales.
  • The company’s portfolio reached about 20 GW including battery storage, while commissioned capacity stood near 12.6 GW at March 31 and climbed to about 12.8 GW after a 247 MW addition.
  • Manufacturing drove new growth as external sales from modules and cells jumped to INR 41,944 million, and ReNew plans an extra 4 GW of cell capacity by December 2026 on top of 6.4 GW modules and 2.5 GW cells today.
  • Shares traded higher at publication, up 5.23% to $5.62, reflecting investor interest in the earnings beat and the scale-up of in‑house solar manufacturing.
