The factory pivots to export-led light commercial vehicles under the Renaulution strategy.

Overview

  • Renault Argentina says the three models will begin their industrial and commercial end-of-life in December 2025.
  • The Niagara medium pickup will be built on the RGMP platform and is slated to occupy roughly two-thirds of the Santa Isabel plant with two full shifts.
  • The company projects that about 60% to 70% of Niagara output will go to export markets across Latin America and potentially beyond.
  • Kangoo production will continue on the adapted line through added imported machinery to match the model’s requirements.
  • An electrified version of the new pickup is under consideration, with the choice between full-electric or hybrid not yet defined.
