Renault Revives Duster in India With Hybrid Option and Level-2 ADAS

Prices will be announced in March, with turbo-petrol deliveries from April and the strong-hybrid slated for the festive season.

  • Pre-bookings are open at Rs 21,000 for the third-generation, India-spec SUV engineered on the Renault Group Modular Platform for local conditions.
  • The lineup includes a 1.0-litre turbo-petrol with a 6-speed manual, a 1.3-litre turbo-petrol with 6-speed manual or 6-speed DCT, and an E-Tech 1.8-litre strong hybrid with an 8-speed DHT.
  • This is the first Renault in India to offer Level-2 ADAS, joined by six airbags, a 360-degree camera, TPMS, an electronic parking brake and disc brakes on all wheels.
  • India-specific updates feature eyebrow LED DRLs, a ‘DUSTER’ grille badge and a connected LED tail-lamp bar, plus dual screens up to 10.25 inches, a panoramic sunroof and powered, ventilated front seats.
  • The model launches as petrol-only and front-wheel drive with diesel and AWD not offered, and outlets report extended ownership coverage potentially up to 7 years or 150,000 km.
