Overview
- Renault India announced the revised Kiger range on Wednesday, June 24, 2026, adding four new variants including a new Evolution+ trim across NA manual, NA AMT and turbo manual configurations.
- Under the new pricing, the naturally aspirated Kiger now starts at Rs 5.81 lakh (ex-showroom) while the turbo range begins at Rs 7.89 lakh for the Evolution+ turbo manual and tops out at Rs 10.35 lakh for the Emotion turbo CVT.
- The Evolution+ trim is positioned between Evolution and Techno and brings Smart Access Card with push‑button start, automatic climate control, wireless smartphone replication and driver seat height adjustment to lower price points.
- Renault also added a five‑speed manual to the Techno turbo (priced at Rs 8.45 lakh ex-showroom) and expanded the turbo lineup from three to five variants and the naturally aspirated range from six to eight variants.
- No mechanical changes were made: the Kiger keeps the 1.0‑litre NA and 1.0‑litre ~100 PS turbo engines with 5‑speed manual, Easy‑R AMT and X‑Tronic CVT options, and Renault says the packaging and pricing move is meant to reduce the feature jump and widen buyer choice in the crowded sub‑4‑metre B‑SUV market.
