Overview
- Renault India launched the updated Triber on Wednesday with ex-showroom prices from Rs 5.80 lakh to Rs 8.00 lakh for manuals and about Rs 8.47–8.48 lakh for the Emotion AMT, following variant-wise hikes of roughly Rs 4,575 to Rs 9,150.
- The top Emotion trim now offers a segment-first automatic climate control system, giving buyers a feature usually missing at this price point.
- A new one-touch fold-and-tumble for the second row and a full-fold function expand cargo capacity to a claimed 1,065 litres and make third-row access easier.
- Renault has moved useful features into mid trims, with Evolution gaining steering-mounted controls, a day–night IRVM and a rear cabin lamp, and Techno adding a driver armrest and height adjust, electric-folding mirrors, front tweeters and a third-row 12V socket.
- There are no mechanical changes as the 1.0-litre petrol with a 5-speed manual returns across the range and the AMT stays limited to Emotion, while 21 standard safety features continue and the 3-year warranty remains extendable to 7 years under Renault Secure.
