Overview
- South Korea's weather agency reported Bavi weakened into a tropical depression over inland China but left a large plume of moisture that forecasters expect to move across the Shandong Peninsula toward the Korean Peninsula.
- The Korea Meteorological Administration forecasts heavy, localized totals of up to about 120 millimeters in parts of northern Gyeonggi and strong hourly downpours of 20–50 mm that may reach the greater Seoul area, with gusts up to about 15 meters per second.
