  • Hunter Greene will begin a minor-league rehab assignment in the Arizona Complex League on Thursday, June 18, as he continues to recover from March elbow surgery to remove bone chips.
  • Pierce Johnson is scheduled to throw live batting practice on Monday as a step toward rejoining the bullpen after right elbow inflammation and a cortisone injection.
  • Emilio Pagán is set to throw a live bullpen session on Friday and will progress through standard rehab steps after his Grade 2 left hamstring strain sidelined him on May 6.
  • The team activated catcher Jose Trevino from the 10-day injured list and optioned P.J. Higgins to Triple-A to restore depth as the club waits on pitcher recoveries.
  • The returns are conditional on successful rehab outings and imaging, and if Greene reclaims his ace role and Pagán returns to closing form the moves could ease pressure on a relief corps that has a 5.98 ERA and poor win-probability marks since May 6.
