- Anyone who donates blood or platelets with the American Red Cross from Jan. 1 to Jan. 25 is automatically entered into a drawing for a trip to Super Bowl LX.
- The prize includes two game tickets in Santa Clara, access to in-stadium pregame activities and the Super Bowl Experience, round-trip airfare, a three-night hotel stay, and a $1,000 gift card.
- The Red Cross says it is distributing blood faster than donations are arriving after holiday schedules, seasonal illnesses, and December weather cancellations strained supplies.
- The campaign, promoted with NFL support and featuring Philadelphia Eagles running back Saquon Barkley, is in its seventh year and has helped attract more than 150,000 first-time donors.
- Appointments can be made via the Blood Donor App, RedCrossBlood.org, or 1-800-RED CROSS, and the Red Cross is urging donors with Type O, A negative, and B negative blood to give now.
