Recife Councilor Alleges Sexual Harassment by Beach Park Monitor

• Andreza Romero says a uniformed monitor deliberately touched her on the Aqua Show staircase around 3 p.m. Friday while she queued with her 3-year-old in the children’s area of the Ceará water park.
• In a criminal representation, she identified the monitor as Ruan and asked police to preserve security-camera footage from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m.
• She attached messages and voice notes sent to a friend at about 3:46 p.m. as contemporaneous evidence.
• Beach Park stated it repudiates such behavior, suspended the cited employee immediately, and is in contact with Romero; the company says staff are trained on its code of conduct.
