Overview
- Armed groups launched near-simultaneous attacks across northern, central and southern Mali, which took place Saturday and hit army bases, supply routes and the Kenieroba prison complex south‑west of Bamako.
- The Malian army said it repelled the assaults, regained control of five reported attack sites and gave casualty figures of about 26 attackers killed plus one pro-government fighter killed and four wounded.
- Malian forces reported that Russia-linked Africa Corps assisted in pushing back the attackers, and the paramilitary group posted videos claiming drone strikes and Russian presence at bases in Anefis and Aguelhok.
