Realme Narzo 100x 5G Debuts in India With 8,000mAh Battery

Realme positions the phone on multi-day battery life, rugged build, a high-refresh display, and aggressive launch pricing to appeal to value-focused buyers.

Overview

  • Realme announced the Narzo 100x 5G on Wednesday, July 15 and said it will go on sale from July 22 through Amazon.in and realme.com with introductory discounts and no-cost EMI options.
  • The phone is offered in three memory configurations (4GB/128GB, 6GB/128GB, 6GB/256GB) priced at Rs. 20,999, Rs. 22,999 and Rs. 24,999, with launch offers that cut the effective starting price to about Rs. 18,499.
  • Realme built the device around an 8,000mAh 'Titan' battery with 45W fast charging and several AI charging modes, and the company claims multi-day runtime plus over 80% health after seven years, a claim that has not been independently verified.
  • Key hardware includes a ~6.8-inch HD+ LCD with up to 144Hz refresh and 1,200 nits peak brightness, a MediaTek Dimensity 6300 SoC, a 50MP dual rear camera and Realme UI 7.0 on Android 16.
  • The company also highlights durability and thermal design with MIL-STD-810H shock testing, an IP65 dust/water rating and a 5,300 mm2 vapour chamber cooling system, and the launch tightens competition in India’s sub-25,000 INR mid-range segment where battery life and value are central selling points.
