RCMP Seek Tips on St. Albert Bin in Search for Missing Infant’s Remains

Pinpointing when furniture was dumped could help police locate a search site.

Overview

  • Alberta RCMP, which issued a public appeal Tuesday, are focusing on a waste bin outside door 11 at Sturgeon Point Villas in St. Albert.
  • Investigators want to hear from anyone who threw out large bedroom furniture in that bin between mid-September and mid-November 2025 because the disposal date could identify where to search.
  • Police say five-month-old Braylee Beasley is missing and presumed dead, and they released images, a map and a QR code to gather tips.
  • A building employee found a suspicious item during an eviction-type check on Jan. 23, which led police to Ayla Egotik-Learn’s body, and investigators now believe she was killed in September.
  • Christopher William Beasley, her common-law partner, faces one count of second-degree murder and two counts of indignity to a body and remains in custody ahead of an April 20 court date.
