Ravens Use Final Pick on Northwestern Guard Evan Beerntsen

The 26-year-old rookie candidate gives Baltimore experienced interior depth.

Overview

The Ravens completed their 2026 draft class by taking Evan Beerntsen in Round 7 at No. 253 overall.
Beerntsen joins an interior offensive line Baltimore has been reshaping, with the starting center job set to be an open competition after the team drafted guard Olaivavega Ioane in the first round.
General manager Eric DeCosta said Beerntsen has played some center but not a lot and praised him as a physical, tough lineman.
He started 54 college games across South Dakota State and Northwestern, won two FCS titles with the Jackrabbits, and will turn 26 in September.
In his lone season at Northwestern he allowed no sacks or quarterback hits and earned All–Big Ten honorable mention, and he posted a high Pro Football Focus grade for the Wildcats.
